A ROSE ONCE GREW
WHERE ALL COULD SEE,
SHELTERED BESIDE
A GARDEN WALL.

AND AS THE DAYS
PASSED SWIFTLY BY,
IT SPREAD IT'S BRANCHES
STRAIGHT AND TALL...

ONE DAY, A BEAM OF LIGHT
SHONE THROUGH A CREVICE,
THAT HAD OPENED WIDE.

THE ROSE BENT GENTLY
TOWARDS IT'S WARMTH,
THEN PASSED BEYOND
TO THE OTHER SIDE.

NOW YOU WHO DEEPLY
FEEL IT'S LOSS,
BE COMFORTED.
THE ROSE BLOOMS THERE,

~~ A Bridge Between Us ~~

Just close your eyes and imagine
a beautiful bridge you now see
that is the bridge I have crossed
no more pain and suffering for me

It was my wish to stay with you
but I know you will all understand
my time on earth was complete
I am now in my new found land

The scene I have here is so peaceful
with everyone treated the same
I hear your cries and your sorrow
I hear you when you call my name

Please don't be sad or lonely
I assure you i'm now free from pain
although our family chain has been broken
it will also one day link again

I now leave you all with a memory
of good times as well as the sad
but one thing i'm truly grateful for
is the wonderful family I have

Mum you would have been so proud of our christopher. He has proven all of us wrong! He is in the navy now,passing all of his exams an tests,as he goes! I'm so proud of him and so is dad.We carn't really belieave he has done so good.He helped build a mug hut for the poor children in africa,now he is on a ship going through gibralter.He is great,and i love him so much!
